Jennifer Siozos named as CEO

The Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Jennifer Siozos has been selected as the new Chief Executive Officer of Mountain Health & Wellness.  Jennifer started her career with MHW in May of 2000 and during her tenure has performed multiple roles that bring a wealth of knowledge to the position.

The search process for MHW Chief Executive Officer was facilitated by Kelly LeFevre [MHW HR]. The selection process included reviewing 70 plus resumes.  The field of qualified applicants were further reduced through a rigorous screening process. A final pool of five candidates were invited to participate in a two hour interview with the interview committee consisting of the Board Chair Sharon Stinard, Vice Chair Arnold Freeman, and Apache Junction, Assistant City Manager Bryant Powell.

The Board very much appreciates the warm welcome that was given by staff members to the visiting external candidates and for your excellent professionalism that showcased MHW for the fine organization that it is.

By the appointment of Ms. Siozos, to the position of CEO, the Board reaffirms its confidence in both the strength and forward direction of Mountain Health & Wellness. We are confident that her Leadership will embrace the vision of Mountain Health & Wellness as a leader in the field of integrated health.

MHW is named the 2012 Non-Profit of the Year by the Apache Junction Chamber of Commerce

I am very excited to share with all of you that MHW received the Non-Profit of the Year Award from the Apache Junction Chamber of Commerce for 2012! It is very nice and very well deserved for our team to be recognized for the hard work and the important contributions all of us make to the communities we serve.
At the  Awards Banquet, Michelle, Maria-Elena and I shared that our organization is very committed to continuing on with Rob’s vision to make Apache Junction the healthiest, happiest community. While this award came from the AJ Chamber of Commerce, I think that our vision is true for all of the communities we serve.
On behalf of the MHW Board of Directors and Executive Team-thank you to all of you for all you do. You’re making a difference every day and our communities are noticing!

Jennifer Siozos  MC, LPC
CEO
